RAMALLAH, (PIC)– Israeli occupation bulldozes closed on Friday evening the main entrances to Silwad town, north of Ramallah, with concrete blocks.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) sealed off the road between the town and the villages of Kafr Malek, Ramon, Tayba, Deir Jarir, and al-Mazraa al-Sharqiyav with mounds of dirt and concrete blocks.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation had already closed the road between Ein Yabroud village and the town.
Local sources described such measure is aimed at punishing Silwad residents for their protests against the occupation.
Consequently, violent clashes broke out Friday evening between Israeli soldiers and a Palestinian young men in Silwad.
