NABLUS, (PIC)– The Palestinian female prisoners in the Israeli occupation jails demanded, through Ahrar Center for Prisoners Studies and Human Rights, the Israeli authorities to provide necessary treatment for patient female prisoners.

The liberated prisoner Noura Jabari, 35 from al-Khalil, stated that the prison administration does not provide the necessary medical treatment for patient female captives, which often leads to the aggravation of their health status.

Jabari, released few days ago, confirmed that she had suffered during her detention from acute pain in the back and neck, because of the long hours of interrogation, and that she had not been allowed to go to the prison hospital.

For his part, Fouad al-Khuffash, director of Ahrar center, stressed that the female prisoners have been suffering from poor conditions inside the prisons, in addition to the continuous and repeated searches and the confiscation of their belongings.

The Israeli occupation holds in its jails 11 female captives.
